Miao Changjiao
Their villages, numbering 12, are in the mountains at 2 000 meters. They do have more than 4 000 people in a population of 7 million Miao people. 9 years ago, an ecological museum was established by a Norwegian anthropologist in one of these villages to preserve this culture. The Changjiao Miao living from agriculture, livestock, but also pretty colorful batiks and clothes made with remarkable embroidery which are intended to be sold to some people who come to these villages, but mainly in the markets of neighboring towns. The name "Long Horns" is that they used buffalo horns mounted on their head, for superb and impressive headdresses. It is now forbidden to use the horns of animals, which are replaced by imitations of wood.
